Paresh Rawal’s original film had a story in which there was no direct role involving God or divine powers. Instead, the narrative revolved around an atheist whose journey and struggles formed the central theme of the film. The story was designed to make audiences think while delivering an important social message.

Rawal said that he presented the concept to two filmmakers, but for some reason, both declined to make the film. Later, when the project finally moved forward, it became a major success and was widely appreciated by audiences.

Speaking about OMG 2, Paresh Rawal said that the story of the sequel had been completely changed, with several modifications made to the final version. According to him, the original ideas and script he had helped develop were not given proper recognition.

Rawal further claimed that this was the reason he was not given credit for his contribution to the film. His statement has once again sparked discussion about creative credit and recognition in the film industry.

OMG 2 was released in 2023 and featured Pankaj Tripathi in a leading role, while Akshay Kumar appeared as a divine messenger. The film performed well at the box office and received a positive response from audiences.

Following Paresh Rawal’s revelation, several old questions surrounding the film have resurfaced. However, no official response has yet been issued by Akshay Kumar or the film’s producers regarding his latest claims.
