Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh: Preparations have been stepped up in Kangra district for the selection of eligible families and the final-stage implementation of the Chief Minister’s ‘Apna Parivar Sukhi Parivar Yojana’. To ensure smooth implementation of the scheme, nodal officers have been appointed at the district, sub-divisional and development-block levels. The administration aims to ensure that eligible families receive the benefits of the scheme in a timely and organised manner.
Nearly 2 Lakh Families Expected to Benefit
Under the scheme, around 2 lakh families are expected to receive benefits on a priority basis. The scheme is also reported to include provisions for 300 units of free electricity and financial assistance of ₹1,500 for women.
The administration has assigned responsibilities to officials for identifying eligible families, receiving applications and ensuring that beneficiaries receive the necessary facilities. The move is expected to improve coordination among different departments involved in implementing the scheme.
Responsibilities Assigned From District to Development-Block Level
Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa has issued a notification regarding the appointment of nodal officers for the effective implementation of the scheme. Officials have been assigned specific responsibilities at the district, sub-divisional and development-block levels.
Officials have been directed to ensure that information about the scheme reaches eligible beneficiaries and that the application process is completed in an organised manner. The administration is also focusing on expediting the process of identifying eligible families.
Abhineet Katyayan Appointed District Nodal Officer
According to the notification, Abhineet Katyayan, District Development Officer (Rural Development), has been appointed as the district-level nodal officer for the Chief Minister’s ‘Apna Parivar Sukhi Parivar Yojana’.
He will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of the scheme across the district and coordinating with various departments. He will also play an important role in speeding up scheme-related work and resolving administrative issues that may arise during implementation.
Focus on Final-Stage Implementation
The administration said that the appointment of nodal officers would make the implementation process more systematic. Having designated officials at the district, sub-divisional and development-block levels will make it easier to monitor applications and matters related to eligibility.
Preparations for the final stage of the scheme are currently being expedited in Kangra district. The administration is working to complete the selection of eligible families according to the prescribed procedure and ensure that they receive the benefits of the scheme.
