The Vvaan Box Office Collection Day 3: Siddharth-Tamannaah Starrer Earns Over ₹43 Crore Worldwide

Siddharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer fantasy thriller ‘The Vvaan’ has begun gaining momentum at the box office. Released in theatres on September 25, the film had a relatively slow opening but witnessed a significant rise in collections over the weekend. On Sunday, its third day, the film earned ₹14 crore.

According to figures reported by Sacnilk, ‘The Vvaan’ recorded approximately 43% occupancy across India on Sunday, with the film being screened in 7,135 shows. With its Day 3 performance, the film’s domestic box office collection crossed the ₹30 crore mark.

Film Earns ₹14 Crore on Day 3

‘The Vvaan’ opened with approximately ₹8 crore on its first day. Its collection increased to ₹11.25 crore on Day 2, before rising further to ₹14 crore on Sunday.

As a result, the film’s three-day net India collection stands at ₹33.25 crore. Its gross India collection has been reported at approximately ₹39.65 crore.

The film benefited from increased audience turnout over the weekend. Its Sunday collection was around ₹2.75 crore higher than its Day 2 earnings.

Worldwide Collection Crosses ₹43 Crore

Along with its domestic performance, the film has also generated revenue in international markets. According to reports, ‘The Vvaan’ has earned a worldwide gross of ₹43.15 crore during its first three days.

This includes an estimated ₹3.50 crore from overseas markets. On Day 3 alone, the film reportedly collected around ₹1.25 crore overseas.

With the three-day figures showing steady growth, attention will now shift to the film’s weekday performance. Films generally benefit from stronger audience turnout during weekends, while collections can either decline or stabilise from Monday onward.

Weekdays Will Be the Real Test

‘The Vvaan’ could face increased competition in the coming days, with other films also competing for audiences in theatres. There has also been discussion around the arrival of ‘Drishyam 3’, starring Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat, later this week.

The performance of new releases and audience preferences could therefore have a direct impact on ‘The Vvaan’s’ box office trajectory. For now, based on its first three days, the film has strengthened its position over the weekend. The key question is whether it can maintain this momentum from Monday onward.
