The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has started the application process for the HSC Class 12 board examinations scheduled to be held in February-March 2027. Regular students appearing for the examination must complete their application forms within the prescribed deadline. The board has also issued instructions regarding application dates and required documents.
Regular Class 12 students can submit their examination applications through the SARAL system. The PFN-ID generated during the previous academic year will be used for the application process. Students can also seek assistance from their respective schools or junior colleges while completing the application.
During the examination application process, the required information of regular students may be obtained from the FYJC online system. Students should therefore ensure that their names, subjects and other essential details are correctly recorded in the relevant database.
Apply Without Late Fee by October 31
According to the announced schedule, the last date to submit the application form without a late fee is October 31, 2026. Students who are unable to complete the application by this date will have the option to apply by paying a late fee.
Applications can be submitted with a late fee from November 1 to November 15, 2026. After that, applications will be accepted with an additional late fee from November 16 to November 30, 2026.
Students are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline. Additional charges and other procedural requirements may apply after the initial deadline.
MCVC and ITI Students Must Also Apply
The board has also issued specific instructions for students enrolled in MCVC and ITI streams. Students whose information is not available on the FYJC system will need to provide the required details to their respective divisional board.
Students who have an APAAR ID must enter their APAAR ID while filling out the examination form. This information is an important part of the application process.
Important Instructions for Uploading the Photograph
Students must upload a recent coloured passport-size photograph with their examination application. The photograph should be between 25 KB and 40 KB in size.
The student’s face must be clearly visible in the photograph, with the eyes and ears clearly identifiable. Students should avoid uploading blurred or unclear photographs.
Before submitting the application, students should carefully verify all the information provided in the form. In particular, details such as name, date of birth, subjects, identification information and other academic records should be cross-checked with the school records.
Check Updates on the Official Website
The Maharashtra Board publishes official notifications related to examinations through the notification section of its website. Students can check the board’s website for updates regarding HSC examination applications and other examination-related information.
The Class 12 board examination is an important milestone in a student’s academic career. Students are therefore advised not to wait until the last date and to complete the application and submission process well in advance.
