Who Can Apply?

To appear for AIBE, candidates must hold a law degree from a university or institution recognised by the Bar Council of India. Candidates should have completed either a 3-year LLB programme or a 5-year integrated LLB programme.

Minimum academic eligibility requirements also apply. General and OBC category candidates are required to have at least 45 per cent marks, while SC and ST category candidates must have secured a minimum of 40 per cent marks, as per the stated eligibility criteria.

Generally, there is no upper age limit for appearing in the AIBE examination. Therefore, candidates who meet the prescribed educational qualifications are not excluded from the examination on the basis of age.
