Shah alleged that the Congress considers infiltrators part of its vote bank and is therefore opposing action against them.
Addressing a public gathering following the ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ march in Hyderabad, Amit Shah said that no matter how hard Rahul Gandhi tries, the BJP will not back down from its commitment to remove every infiltrator from the country. He claimed that there are approximately three crore infiltrators in India.
Amit Shah Responds to Allegations of Deleting 13 Crore Votes
Amit Shah questioned the Opposition for repeatedly alleging that 13 crore votes had been deleted from electoral rolls, despite the Election Commission providing information regarding the removal of names.
He described these allegations as completely false and accused the Opposition of misleading the public over the issue.
Targets Rahul Gandhi With Sharp Remarks
The Home Minister took a dig at Rahul Gandhi, stating that he would never become the Prime Minister in the real Parliament.
Questioning the Congress party’s political approach, Shah alleged that the party was misleading the country on the issue of illegal infiltration.
Shah reiterated that the BJP remains committed to identifying infiltrators and deporting them from the country. He said that regardless of the Opposition’s protests, the government would not change its position on the issue.
Amit Shah’s remarks indicate that the political confrontation between the BJP and Congress over electoral rolls and illegal infiltration is likely to intensify further.
