Amit Shah to Join ‘Save Democracy’ Rally in Karnal on November 5

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to head the ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ march in Karnal on November 5, according to Haryana BJP president Archana Gupta. The event aims to reinforce democratic values and counter disorder across the state. Gupta also criticized the Congress party over their planned November 1 rally in Delhi, accusing them of attempting to weaken democratic institutions.

Campaign Against Congress and Electoral Issues

Gupta accused Congress of misleading the public, contrasting their approach with the BJP’s extensive campaign to educate citizens on democratic processes. She stated that BJP workers will reach every Indian and Haryana resident to clarify misconceptions propagated by Congress, Rahul Gandhi, and the India alliance, who she claimed spread falsehoods daily.

She highlighted topics like the voter rolls and the Special Summary Revision (SSR) process, clarifying that SSR has been conducted twelve times across India, ten of which occurred under Congress rule. Gupta emphasized that the BJP is focused on transparency and ensuring the electoral roll’s integrity.

Gupta further explained the voter roll revision, stating nearly 130 million names were removed from the draft list due to various reasons: 30 million deceased, 60 million permanently relocated, 10 million duplicates, and 30 million untraceable voters. She noted that anyone suspecting an error can fill Form-6 to restore their voter status, ensuring the process remains open and fair.

Mobilization for Stability and Democratic Values

Despite this transparent effort, Gupta alleged Congress is spreading chaos and instability nationwide. She accused them of aiming to turn India into a failed state like Bangladesh, Nepal, or Sri Lanka, a plan the public will never allow to succeed. BJP volunteers intend to counter these claims by presenting facts and truth to the people through rallies in every district and parliamentary constituency.

Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to attend the Karnal parliamentary constituency march, which is expected to commence around 10 a.m. from the Sector-12 market ground to the Mahatma Gandhi statue. The route will be inspected prior to the event for arrangements.

Gupta pointed out that Congress has been rejected by voters in states where it contests elections. She criticized opposition leaders for prioritizing party interests over national unity and questioned their commitment to the country, citing instances when opposition figures criticized India during foreign visits while continually attacking the BJP.

She concluded by emphasizing that while political parties come and go, the nation remains paramount. Gupta praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s consistent twelve years of work towards national integration, contrasting it with the opposition’s focus on power rather than patriotism and national unity.
