Police in Maharashtra’s Nandurbar district have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with allegations of sexual exploitation and blackmail involving minors and young people. The accused has been identified as Chetan Prakash Koli. According to police, he had allegedly been blackmailing and exploiting victims since 2022 by threatening to circulate their private videos on social media.
During an examination of the accused’s mobile phone, police reportedly recovered more than 600 explicit videos. Following the discovery, investigators are now trying to determine how many victims appear in the videos and how many people the accused may have allegedly targeted.
Alleged Blackmail Through Social Media
According to police, the accused would contact victims through social media platforms. He allegedly obtained their private videos and subsequently threatened to make them public. Police suspect that these threats were used to allegedly blackmail and exploit the victims.
Authorities said the activity is believed to have continued since 2022. Investigators are now examining the accused’s contacts and the digital material stored on his mobile phone.

Nandurbar Superintendent of Police Ashwini Sanap said that more than 600 explicit videos were recovered from the accused’s mobile phone. Police are examining the digital material to identify the victims.
