After an attack on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday, the Uttar Pradesh police have stepped up security measures. Authorities have increased protection outside actress Disha Patani’s residence in Bareilly as a precautionary step following the incident. Three suspects linked to the attack were arrested from Kota while Mumbai police continue their investigation.
Security Measures Heightened at Disha Patani’s Home
The assault on Tiger Shroff has been claimed by Anil Pandit of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Given the history of threats, the Uttar Pradesh police have prioritized enhancing safety around Disha Patani’s home. Last year, the actress’s residence was targeted in a separate shooting incident, leading authorities to take proactive steps to prevent any further danger.
Disha Patani’s house is located in the Civil Lines area of Bareilly’s Kotwali jurisdiction, where her family currently lives. Although Disha is presently in Mumbai, visiting the actor after the attack underscores the close association between the two and adds to security concerns in Bareilly.
Previous Attack on Disha Patani’s Home
In September of the previous year, Disha Patani’s home endured two consecutive days of gunfire. On September 11 and 12, unidentified assailants on motorcycles shot at her house, with the second day’s attack involving 10 to 12 bullets. The investigation linked this assault to gangs headed by Goldie Brar and Rohit Godara.
During a later encounter in Ghaziabad, two alleged shooters involved in the case were killed. Police have already filed chargesheets against four accused individuals connected to the attacks on her residence.
The attack on Tiger Shroff took place around 7 PM on Sunday as he was returning home after playing football on a ground in Juhu. Three motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire at his vehicle, firing five rounds. Fortunately, Tiger narrowly escaped without injury.
Mumbai police promptly arrested the three suspects and are actively investigating the motives behind the attack. Authorities have expressed commitment to ensuring the safety of affected individuals and preventing any further incidents.
Following the assault on Tiger Shroff, which has raised alarm among celebrities and authorities alike, the Uttar Pradesh police’s decision to increase security at Disha Patani’s residence appears to be a cautious but necessary measure. This response highlights the interconnected nature of recent threats in the region and the focus on protecting public figures from gang-related violence.
The situation remains under close watch as police work to unravel the full context of these incidents while maintaining public safety at both local and national levels.
