Ranchi police have arrested three individuals in connection with the recent attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office in the city. Law enforcement officials confirmed that the arrests took place after an intensive investigation into the incident, which had raised serious concerns about local security and communal harmony.
The police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Explosive Substances Act of 1908, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) of 1967. These charges reflect the gravity of the offense and the intent to tackle unlawful activities through stringent legal measures.
According to sources, the attack was premeditated and involved the use of explosive materials, which endangered not only the occupants of the RSS office but also the surrounding neighborhood. The arrested individuals are currently being interrogated by the police to ascertain their motives and any connections to larger networks that might be involved in such unlawful activities. Authorities have assured the public that they will take all necessary steps to prevent similar incidents and maintain peace in the region.
Representatives of the RSS condemned the attack and appealed for calm and unity among the community members. They emphasized that such acts of violence undermine social cohesion and the democratic fabric of the country.
