One in Every Three Faculty Positions Vacant in Leading Technical Institutes, RTI Data Reveals

The Education Ministry recently stated that recruitment processes are ongoing in Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) to fill faculty vacancies. However, data obtained through the Right to Information (RTI) Act paints a different picture, indicating that 35.2% of faculty posts remain vacant across these premier institutions.
