Nijjar Was Killed Over Drug Trafficking, Goldy Brar Allegedly Confesses in Leaked Audio

New Delhi, Delhi. A fresh claim has emerged regarding the killing of Khalistan supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada in June 2023. A leaked audio recording allegedly features the voice of gangster Goldy Brar, in which he is reportedly heard discussing the alleged conspiracy behind Nijjar’s murder and the motive for it.

According to the claim, Brar allegedly said during a conversation with Khalistan supporter Paramjit Singh Pamma that Nijjar was targeted over alleged involvement in drug trafficking and promoting narcotics among young people. However, independent public verification of the leaked audio has not been clearly established.

In the conversation, Brar is allegedly heard claiming that teenagers aged 16 and 17 were being encouraged to sell drugs and that some young people were pressured to become informants. He allegedly accused Nijjar of supporting such individuals and using them when required.

The matter is also being linked to Operation Hardball, which is reportedly connected to action by US and Canadian law-enforcement agencies against international criminal networks. Claims have emerged that networks associated with Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi were mentioned during the investigation.

Nijjar’s killing has already been a major source of political and diplomatic tension between India and Canada. In this context, the alleged audio recording could trigger a fresh debate over the case. However, independent and official verification of all the claims made in the audio is still pending.
