A shocking murder case has come to light in Madhya Pradesh’s Alirajpur district. In the Udaygarh police station area, a woman allegedly killed her husband, attempted to burn his body, and later buried the partially burned remains under sand in a room behind the house. The remains of the man, who had been missing for 17 days, were recovered, following which police arrested his wife.

According to police, the woman claimed that her husband frequently suspected her character, which led to repeated arguments between the couple. During one such dispute, she allegedly struck her husband on the head with a wooden stick, resulting in his death.

After the incident, the woman allegedly attempted to dispose of the body. She reportedly set the body on fire and later buried the partially burned remains beneath sand stored in a room behind the house.

The case came to light when the deceased man’s son, who lives in Rajkot, Gujarat, reached home on Thursday after learning that his father had been missing for 17 days. He reportedly became suspicious of his mother’s statements. Initially, the woman did not disclose anything about the incident, but after being questioned by her son, she allegedly revealed details of what had happened.

The sand stored in the room behind the house was subsequently removed, leading to the recovery of partially burned human remains. Police were informed and reached the spot, took the remains into custody, and began an investigation.

Police have arrested the woman accused in the case. Investigators are now working to establish the complete circumstances surrounding the alleged murder and determine the items used in the incident.
