The Haryana government has expanded the scope of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, aimed at providing financial support and empowerment to women. Now, eligible women from families with an annual household income of up to ₹1.80 lakh will also be able to benefit from the scheme. Eligible women will receive ₹2,100 in monthly financial assistance directly into their bank accounts.
The government’s decision will allow a larger number of women to come under the scheme. With the increase in the income eligibility limit, eligible women from more families will now have the opportunity to receive the benefits.
Registration for new beneficiaries under the second phase of the scheme started on September 17. Eligible women can apply through the prescribed process to avail themselves of the benefits.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar Vashisht said that the objective of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana is not only to provide financial assistance to women but also to promote their dignity and self-reliance. He appealed to eligible women to apply and take advantage of the scheme.
For the convenience of women, special counters and help desks have also been set up at Seva Setu Camps. These centers are providing information regarding eligibility, registration, and the application process for the scheme.
The monthly assistance of ₹2,100 provided by the government will serve as a regular source of financial support for women. It may help women from needy families meet their daily expenses and other essential needs.
