Yadgir, Karnataka: Karnataka’s Rain Minister Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil conducted a comprehensive review meeting to assess the ongoing drought situation and drinking water crisis in Yadgir district.
The minister highlighted the urgent need to protect farmers and residents affected by prolonged dry weather, which has significantly impacted agriculture and access to safe drinking water.

During the meeting, Dr. Patil instructed officials from the Revenue and Agriculture Departments to prepare a detailed report on crop losses caused by the drought.

Officials were also directed to evaluate the current drinking water situation across the district.
