New Delhi: Amid the ongoing parliamentary deadlock over the alleged NEET paper leak, the Central Government has stated that it is fully prepared for a detailed discussion on the issue in Parliament. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju told the Lok Sabha that the government wants an open debate on the matter, emphasizing that protecting students’ future remains its highest priority.
Kiren Rijiju Makes Key Statement in Lok Sabha
Speaking during Lok Sabha proceedings amid opposition protests, Kiren Rijiju said the government is not trying to avoid any questions related to the controversy. He stated, “Students are our top priority. We want a detailed discussion in the House on the NEET paper leak issue.” He also urged the Opposition to participate in the debate instead of disrupting parliamentary proceedings and to present its suggestions during the discussion.
Opposition Demands PM Modi’s Statement
Despite the government’s willingness to hold a debate, opposition parties reiterated their demand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally address the issue in Parliament. Opposition leaders argued that the matter concerns millions of students and their families, making it necessary for the Prime Minister to directly explain the government’s position.
