A total of 2,526 candidates who qualified in the examination will now have the opportunity to appear for the next stage of the selection process, known as the Personality Test or interview.

Online Application Must Be Updated by November 25
According to UPSC, candidates who have qualified in the Main Examination must complete or update their online application forms to participate in the interview process.
The application window will remain open from November 11 to November 25, 2026.
Candidates must complete the application process by 6:00 PM on November 25. Shortlisted applicants are advised to enter all the required information and complete the necessary formalities within the prescribed deadline.

Where Will the Civil Services Interview Be Conducted?
The Personality Test for candidates who have qualified in the Main Examination will be conducted at the UPSC office at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi.
Candidates appearing for the interview will need to download their e-Summon Letters.
The e-Summon Letters will be made available through the commission’s official website and online application portal. UPSC has clarified that physical interview call letters will not be sent to candidates by post.

Final Result to Be Announced After the Interview
The Personality Test is an important final stage of the UPSC Civil Services Examination selection process. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in the Main Examination and the Personality Test.

Candidates’ mark sheets will be made available on the official website within 15 days after the declaration of the final result. These mark sheets will include the marks obtained in both the Main Examination and the Personality Test.
