CBSE Portal Experiences Glitches on First Day as Aadhaar Authentication Becomes Mandatory
In an effort to address concerns related to the evaluation of answer sheets, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched a dedicated portal on June 2, allowing students to apply for verification and re-evaluation of scanned copies of their answer sheets. The initiative comes as a response to numerous requests from candidates seeking clarity on their exam results.
The portal is designed to enable students who have noticed discrepancies or errors in their marks to submit applications for further scrutiny directly online. According to CBSE officials, the portal will remain accessible until midnight on June 6, providing a limited but crucial window for applicants to raise their concerns.
However, the launch was not without hiccups. Users reported experiencing technical glitches and server delays, which hampered their ability to submit applications smoothly on the very first day. Many students expressed frustration on social media platforms, highlighting challenges such as slow loading times and repeated authentication failures.
A key feature introduced alongside this portal is the mandatory Aadhaar-based authentication process.
