Farmers waiting for the next installment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have an important update. Completing the Farmer Registry ID process has become an important requirement for farmers seeking benefits under the PM Kisan scheme. In Darbhanga district, a large number of eligible farmers have yet to complete the process. In view of this, the district administration has directed officials to accelerate the campaign.
A review meeting was held at the Ambedkar Auditorium in the district collectorate under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Kaushal Kumar, where the status of the Farmer Registry was reviewed. During the meeting, it emerged that the Farmer Registry IDs of around 24,000 eligible beneficiary farmers across four blocks of the district are still pending.
Process to Be Completed by October 15
During the meeting, the District Magistrate directed the concerned officials and staff to complete the Farmer Registry ID creation process for all eligible farmers within the stipulated deadline. October 15 has been set as the target date for completing the work.
The administration aims to ensure that eligible farmers do not miss out on the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Officials have been instructed to identify pending cases at the departmental level and speed up the process.

The Farmer Registry links farmers’ land records and other essential information with digital records. This can help improve the identification of beneficiaries and facilitate the delivery of government agricultural schemes to eligible farmers.

The review meeting revealed that Farmer Registry IDs for around 24,000 eligible farmers are pending across four blocks. Taking the matter seriously, the administration has instructed officials to complete the work within the specified timeframe.
The District Magistrate also directed officials to ensure that information reaches eligible farmers so they can complete the necessary process on time. The administration is also expected to regularly review the progress of the work.

Farmers expecting the next installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi should check their beneficiary status and required records. If the Farmer Registry process is still pending, they should contact the concerned department to understand the required documents and complete the process.
However, having a Farmer Registry ID alone does not guarantee payment of the installment. Other eligibility criteria and government verification requirements under the scheme will also continue to apply.
