The Mukhyamantri Krishak Scholarship Scheme is being implemented in Uttar Pradesh with the objective of providing financial assistance for higher education to the children of farmers and agricultural labourers. Earlier, the scholarship amount under the scheme was said to be ₹3,000 per month.

Being a PM Kisan beneficiary alone should not be considered a guarantee of receiving the scholarship.
