With around 40 days reportedly remaining before the film’s release, a special event related to the movie was held in Mumbai, where Ranbir Kapoor spoke about his feelings toward Lord Ram and the epic Ramayana.

The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namित Malhotra. Popular YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, also attended the event in Mumbai on Saturday as a special guest.

Ranbir Kapoor Speaks About Lord Ram

During the event, Ranbir Kapoor spoke about his faith in Lord Ram and his personal connection with the Ramayana. He said that Lord Ram is not merely a character for him but someone who resides in his soul.

Ranbir described being part of an epic such as the Ramayana as a great responsibility. Playing Lord Ram is considered both an emotionally significant and challenging role for the actor.

A statue of Lord Hanuman was unveiled at the Mumbai event in the presence of MrBeast. The occasion generated considerable excitement among fans and people associated with the film.

However, the event began considerably later than scheduled. After a delay of more than three hours, the programme reportedly concluded in around 19 minutes. Despite the brief proceedings, Ranbir Kapoor’s remarks about Lord Ram and the Ramayana became a major talking point.
